Inventor Gepetto creates a marionette out of wood who he names Pinocchio. He wishes that Pinocchio could be a real boy and this is unexpectedly granted by a fairy. The fairy meets Jiminy Cricket and tells him to act as Pinocchio's "conscience" and keep him out of trouble. Jiminy gets sidetracked and Pinocchio spends most of the movie getting himself into risky situations. |
