Punky Brewster

After 7 year old Penelope "Punky" Brewster and her dog Brandon are abandoned at a shopping center by Punky's mom, Susan Brewster, Punky is taken in by Chicago photographer and apartment building manager Henry Warnimont, who lives on the second floor. Henry's friend, Betty Johnson, lives upstairs from Henry. Betty is a registered nurse who has had custody of her granddaughter, Cherie, ever since Cherie's parents died in a car accident. Punky and Cherie become inseperable and most episodes involve adventures they go on.

It's Punky Brewster Cartoon

Based on the live-action show of 1984-88, this animated version followed the adventures of Punky and Glomer, her magical friend, who came from the world at the end of the rainbow. Glomer can transport Punky and her friends (Cherie, Margaux, and Allen) to any part of the world in the blink of an eye. Punky Brewster was voiced by Punky herself, Soleil Moon Frye.
